To Heal the Sick, Pray with Your Spirit

Healed from chronic pain

spirit Janet Proodian’s legs had been crushed between the bumpers of two cars. As a result she could not run and had chronic pain. Her husband could not heal her because he had not yet learned how to pray with his spirit.

She and her husband went to a Bill Johnson meeting. Bill had a word of knowledge that people in the audience had been in accidents, were now in chronic pain and God wants to heal them that night.

Janet stood up & raised her hand. Bill Johnson told people around them to lay their hands on the people with chronic pain.

Janet’s legs began to tingle. They tingled all night. When she awoke, she had no swelling, no pain and the nerves had been reconnected.

Persistently prayed (but not with his spirit)

May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23b

For 30 years John Proodian prayed for the sick. Virtually no one was healed!

He finally found out what was missing. He had prayed with his body and soul. But, he did not get his spirit involved.

Now he has an infinitely better success rate.

Grew several inches while congregation watched

John & Janet Proodian were at a Dr. James Maloney meeting one evening. A little girl and her mother came to the front. The girl was around 12 years old. However, she had a rare physical condition that caused her growth to be stunted. She looked more like a 5- or 6-year-old child.

Dr. Maloney had a word of knowledge of precisely what the girl’s problem was. He also declared that God would restore her stature “right now”.

He asked the congregation to begin worshipping the Lord. The little girl grew several inches while the congregation watched.

The Ministry of Patricia Bootsma

Authority Over Demons

Patricia Bootsma had a terrifying three weeks when she was 19 years old. Demons would come into her bedroom every night around 2 am. Things would fly around the room. She heard voices. She knew that she lacked the power to take authority over the demons.

One evening a pastor laid his hands on her and imparted a special anointing over her. She drove home speaking in tongues. She went into her bedroom and spoke with authority. She just said, “In the name of Jesus, get out!”

That night was the first night in three weeks that she had a peaceful sleep.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8a.

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Matthew 28:18b

Lifestyle of drawing near to the Lord

Having divine encounters and hearing the Lord’s voice does not come automatically just because a person is a Christian. You can expect it to require a lifestyle of waiting on the Lord and worshipping God.

Cloud of Witnesses

Since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrews 12:1

Once Patricia Bootsma’s spirit left her body and went to heaven. She met some of the Cloud of Witnesses. They were ancestors of hers.

Her grandmother told her that their race was over. But, Patricia’s job was to bring light into dark places. They will be cheering her on. She should tell people about heaven. She should tell them that He’s worth it all.

How to Use Singing to Heal People

The science behind singing to heal

Singing the scriptures is a tool that can make your prayers more effective. You can literally be singing to heal.

Even when you think you cannot sing at all, at least trying to sing will help you break into the supernatural.

Science is doing research on the power of singing. When you talk you are using the left side of the brain. When you add the element of tone, you are using the right side. By adding rhythm, you are using the back of the brain. With the various parts of your brain working together, it is very difficult to have negativity into your thoughts and prayers.

Homeless man sings Psalms 23

A homeless man named Raymond used to communicate by just mumbling. At a homeless shelter event, people were encouraged to sing the Bible. Julie Meyer worked especially hard to get Raymond to sing.

Eventually he stood up and sang so hard that people clapped. That was the beginning of his recovery. The last Julie Meyer heard about him was that he wanted her to know that he would be entering a drug treatment program.

Woman with AIDS gets healed

Eli Rose had been homeless since age 12. She’d been in the sex trade & had AIDS. A doctor had told her that she was unable to ever have children.

She was planning on ending her life. Before she did so, she ended up in some healing rooms.

The healing room director got a word of knowledge that someone in the room wanted to commit suicide. He told the people that whoever it was should not do that. He said that God was already starting to heal her.

That evening she gave her life to the Lord. Then she began a healing program. Every day she sang the Bible.

She now credits her healing with singing the scriptures. She was healed of AIDS. She is now married and had a baby girl.

This is the Outrageous Faith of Henry Gruver

Henry Gruver’s life has been a life of outrageous faith and amazing miracles.

For instance, he, his wife and their eight children were in a van accident. Henry was dead for about 30 minutes.

His daughter’s outrageous faith

His 15-year-old daughter started praying, “Devil, that’s my dad. You can’t have him. I rebuke you in the name of Jesus.”

Eleven days to live

Once Henry had cancer throughout his body. His doctor told him he expected to live another eleven days. He called Henry a living dead man.

Eleven days after the doctor visit he preached to 75 pastors because he had been scheduled to preach a year earlier. Physically it was very difficult.

After he preached, a number of students began to pray for him.

Suddenly the pain left him. He yelled out that he had been healed.

He went back to his doctor who was super impacted. Since then he has gone on missions to India & Africa.

Mosquitoes, plague & dragonflies

Henry was scheduled to speak in Taiwan. The southern part of Taiwan was being plagued by deadly mosquitoes. One mosquito bite and people would go into a painful high fever for four days and then die. Hundreds were dying every day.

He went to southern Taiwan, looked out on a field and had a vision of one dragonfly. His father had told him to never kill a dragonfly because they eat mosquitoes.

Henry prayed for clouds of dragonflies. Suddenly he and his entourage saw millions of dragonflies appear in front of them.

Baby Dead at Birth

Henry Gruver’s baby boy had been born dead. The umbilical cord was wrapped around his throat four times.However, a year previous it had been prophesied that his wife would give birth to a powerful man of God.

So, Henry took the dead baby in his hands and reminded God of the prophecy. The baby lived.

The Answer to the School Violence Problem

Columbine student’s father — solution to school violence

Guess our national leaders didn’t expect this answer to the school violence problem.

Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton, Colorado, was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee‘s subcommittee. What he said to our national leaders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful.

They were… not prepared for what he was to say, nor was it received well. It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert! These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness.. The following is a portion of the transcript:

“Since the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.

“The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used.. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain’s heart.

NRA & school violence???

“In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA – because I don’t believe that they are responsible for my daughter’s death.

“Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel’s murder I would be their strongest opponent.

“I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy — it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best.

“Your laws ignore our deepest needs,
Your words are empty air.
You’ve stripped away our heritage,
You’ve outlawed simple prayer.
Now gunshots fill our classrooms,
And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere,
And ask the question “Why?”
You regulate restrictive laws,
Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand,
That God is what we need!

“Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation’s history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact.

School violence & scapegoats

“What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine’s tragedy occurs — politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts.

“As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America , and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools.

“Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA — I give to you a sincere challenge.. Dare to examine your own heart before casting the first stone!

“My daughter’s death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!”

Remarkable Powerful Healing with Spiritual Fire

Healing by fire

The great healing evangelist, Smith Wigglesworth (1859 – 1947) used to impart spiritual fire into people. That fire would burn out people’s diseases.

Smith Wigglesworth’s great granddaughter imparted the healing by fire anointing into Jack Sheffield. Watch below to see some of the miracles he has seen and some of the miracles he is walking in.

Tested dead By EMT, raised to life

One day Jack Sheffield has attending a church where people believed in the supernatural. During the service, a woman died.

The pastor knew the story about Elijah laying his body upon the widow’s dead son. So, he laid upon the woman’s body.

The ambulance came; the emergency medical technicians declared her dead. In the ambulance, she rose from the dead.

Healed of bone cancer

Jack Sheffield received a healing anointing of fire. Someone with bone cancer came to the healing centre. After Jack laid hands on the man, he said that he felt fire in different parts of his body.

He was completely healed.

Pulling the plug in the hospital

Jack Sheffield has set up healing centres in a number of hospital chapels. There is praise & worship and allowing God to enter the scene.

One day a very distraught family came in. They were about to pull the plug that was giving life support to the father.

The chapel team raised the spiritual level, the family went up to see the plug being pulled from life support and the dead man came back to life.

Demonized Christian

The Bible talks about people having a spirit of infirmity. That spirit is a demon. Christians can be tormented by demons.

At one point Jennifer was a happy, peaceful Christian. Then things turned sour. Life got dark.

She went to a prayer meeting and someone saw a demonic spirit on her. She was then thrown against a wall and began to manifest for several hours. Her friends started to pray warfare prayers. It did not help.

In the months that followed, the demon harassed her. Sometimes the sounds were so great that other people could hear them.

One night the demon walked through a wall and Jennifer could see them. She took authority in the name of Jesus Christ. The demon left and never came back.

Two secrets for getting our prayers answered

Praying successfully is simple for Jennifer. She

Finds a Bible promise relating to the problem and pray the promise with the name and authority of Jesus Christ.
Pray with other people in agreement.

Pray scriptures with authority

What if you are loaded with problems — family, finances, health, etc. Can you pray for them? Yes, of course. Just use your weaponry — the Bible and the name of Jesus Christ.

Jennifer has an excellent track record. She says that she finds a Bible promise that relates to her problem. Then she speaks to the problem with the scripture. She takes authority in the name of Jesus Christ.

Deliverance after dabbling in the occult

A young boy had been dabbling in the occult and began to levitate after his father prayed. A group of Christians tried to cast the demon out. They could not.

Jennifer Eivaz said that she had successfully cast a demon out of herself. She prayed and the demon left.

Healing Ministry of Art Thomas

Healed of Crohn’s disease

Art Thomas had a healing ministry. He would pray for people and they would be miraculously healed. This would happen while he was in the pain of Crohn’s disease.

(Read Isaiah 53. Now go down to verse 5 — The punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed (Isaiah 53:5b). Now think about this for a while: Jesus went through great torture as a punishment for YOUR sins. One of the reasons He did this was so that YOU would be healed.)

One day in his blog post he wrote that he had Crohn’s disease. His readers hit the reply button and began to pray that in the name of Jesus he would be healed.

By the end of the month Art Thomas was completely healed.

Healing ministry — Two-year-old boy prays for broken nose

Art Thomas’ wife was playing with her four year old. The child banged his head against his mother’s nose, breaking it.

The two year old laid his hand on his mother’s nose and said, “Nose be healed in Jesus’ name.” Bleeding stopped, pain stopped & the nose became whole again.

Labor pains at 24 weeks

Art Thomas’ wife phoned him when she was 24 weeks pregnant. She told him that she was having labor pains 5 minutes apart.

On the drive home the Lord told Art, “This is what I meant when I said My strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:19b)

When he got home, Art laid his hands on his wife’s abdomen and said, “In Jesus’ name, contractions stop now.” They stopped and the baby continued to develop to full term.

The Blood of Jesus Has Amazing Power

This Blood’s for you!

Jesus bought you with His Blood. The blood of Jesus is currency. Just read Acts 20: 28b — Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.

Now consider Isaiah 53:4-5 — 4. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 5. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Bold words mine.)

Look at those bold words. That’s what Jesus did when He shed His blood for you. Repeat: He did it for YOU!

Plead the Blood

So, when you pray, feel free to remind God that Jesus shed His Blood for you. Pray that Father God will carry out His perfect will based on the Blood of Jesus.

Praying for finances

Here is a sample prayer about how you can plead the blood when praying for your finances.

My Heavenly Father, Thank you that Jesus died for me to have total access to you. You are my Provider. These are my financial needs: (You fill in the blanks.)

I present the Blood of Jesus to you as legal evidence that I can receive everything You promised in Your Word. And I plead Jesus’ Blood over (_____). Let Your Kingdom come, let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven — especially over (_____).

Thank you for the blood of Jesus. In His name, Amen.

Healed of hepatitis C

10-year-old Tommy Combs had hepatitis C. The doctor said that his liver had been destroyed and he had a week or so to live.

His mother & grandmother pled the blood of Jesus over Tommy. The tangible Glory of God came into the hospital room, Jesus came to the foot of Tommy’s bed and he received a new liver within a second.

The doctors did tests and said that he had been completely healed.

Raised from the dead

Tommy Combs was ministering in Peru. One evening some men brought a woman’s corpse to him and said that they would like to see her raised from the dead.

Tommy Combs pled the blood of Jesus over her. She came back to life. Tommy even had lunch at her come later.

Harder than reversing heroin addictions

Many years previous Dr. Brown had been addicted to heroin. Then he became addicted to food. He said it was harder to reverse his chocolate addiction than to reverse his heroin addiction.

On August 24, 2014 he decided to change his eating habits. He began eating more of the food in the form God made them. He began eating more fruits & vegetable and much less processed food.

The first three days were terrible. Later he found out that when you feed your taste buds healthy food, they change. Now they prefer healthy food.
