Engaging Mount Zion

♦ We have come to heaven already; we’re just not aware of it yet. “Mountain” refers to government. Mount Zion refers to the heavenly Jerusalem. We, the weak and vulnerable, will speak God’s word to earthly governments.

But ye are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Hebrews 12:22-24

and many peoples shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob, that He may teach us His ways and that we may walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Isaiah 2:3

♦ We will go to Mt. Zion and meet the King. We are talking about an Enoch generation that knows how to go to heaven and encounter the King.

Yet I have set My King, On My holy hill of Zion.

Psalm 2:6

♦ Zion is where the justice system dwells.

Right now people are going up to the courts of heaven and judging major events.

Don’t understand this? Remember, “it’s better felt than telt.” We get this teaching in our spirit first and then intellectual understanding comes later.

Let Mount Zion be glad! Let the daughters of Judah rejoice because of your judgments!

Psalm 48:11

♦ When people speak from the council of the Lord, there will be no debate.

But if they had stood in My council, then they would have proclaimed My words to My people,
and they would have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their deeds.

Jeremiah 23:22

♦ After we have gone to Zion, we will speak with great authority & power.

If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God.

1 Peter 4:11a

♦ Good book to read:

The Secret of the Stairs: A Guide to Spiritual Growth from the Song of Solomon

by Wade E. Taylor. A new take on the Song of Solomon. It goes past the usual “marriage” comparisons and takes the reader on a personal journey of relationship and the intimacy with the Lord that many believers seek.
God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong.

1 Corinthians 1:27

♦ A binding contract. “Released on earth” — to annul as in a contract. Any demonic contract in your life can be annulled. It is done by the court system in heaven.

I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.

Matthew 18:18

♦ The church, the ecclesia. The ecclesia was the Greek parliament. So “ecclesia” refers to the government of God. — What Christendom has build has not been the ecclesia.

And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Matthew 16:18

In the year the kingdom dies — in the year the old way of doing things dies… . Die to self. Die to the old way of doing things. “Good” is the enemy of “best”.

In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up.

Isaiah 6:1a

♦ We can be part of the court system of heaven. If you do not understand it, take it by faith.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 4:16

Testimony — evidence gathered in a court — giving their testimony in a court room in heaven. Overcame — overcame the world system. We will overcome by giving a testimony in the court room in Zion.

Satan can speak against us in the courts of heaven. The Blood can speak and say that we are forgiven.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.

Revelation 12:11

♦ If we walk in His ways and keep His commands, we have the right to be a participator in His court system.

Thus says the LORD of hosts: If you will walk in My ways and keep My charge, then you shall rule My house and have charge of My courts, and I will give you the right of access among those who are standing here.

Zechariah 3:7

♦ Mt. Zion is the place to which we come to legislate and to rule. Our job is to step into Mr. Zion and get the blueprint for our geographical region. As we get the blueprint, all of heaven backs us — the angels back us, the cloud of witnesses back us

and many peoples shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Isaiah 2:3

♦ New clothes, that’s the gospel. When you go there you will be clean because of the blood.

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. 2 And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, O Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this a brand plucked from the fire?” 3 Now Joshua was standing before the angel, clothed with filthy garments. 4 And the angel said to those who were standing before him, “Remove the filthy garments from him.” And to him he said, “Behold, I have taken your iniquity away from you, and I will clothe you with pure vestments.” 5 And I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord was standing by. And the angel of the Lord solemnly assured Joshua.

Zechariah 3:1-6

♦ If we keep the ways of the Lord, we can govern in Mount Zion.

This is what the LORD Almighty says: “If you will walk in obedience to Me and keep My requirements, then you will govern My house and have charge of My courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here.”

Zechariah 3:7

And if you will walk in my ways, keeping my statutes and my commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.

1 Kings 3:14

But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly,
