Financial Laws of the Kingdom

financial lawsGary Keesee was in a desperate financial situation.  He did not understand God’s financial laws.

He was maxed out on his credit card, there were liens against his property, he looked into other people’s garbage to find things of value… . One day a lawyer phoned him to say that someone was suing him.

Beginning to learn God’s financial laws

financial lawsThat was when Gary cried out to God. God answered him. First of all, he saw Philippians 4:19 in a whole new light:

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.

God wants to supply all of our needs and more. Proverbs 10:22 says, “The blessing of the LORD brings wealth” So, the Lord has no problem with us being wealthy. However, it should revolve around His kingdom and His glory.

When Gary Keesee and his wife started walking in God’s principles, their financial problems ended. God gave them ideas for businesses and their fortunes changed.

That could just be considered a coincidence. However, Gary goes around teaching the principles to other Christians and they work for them too.

Natural laws & kingdom laws

Just as the world operates under the laws of physics such as the law of gravity, the Kingdom of God operates under spiritual laws. When we walk according to those laws, we can fulfill our destiny on this earth.

When an airplane takes off, the laws of gravity still exist. However, other physical laws have trumped the law of gravity. When we walk according to certain spiritual laws, those laws can trump the curse of poverty.

We have to walk in faith. That is a spiritual law. The Bible says that fear is the opposite of faith. So, when we have a spirit of fear, we are breaking a spiritual law.We have to take dominion over that spirit of fear.

The financial laws are also kingdom laws.

Law of agreement

Matthew 18:19 says If two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. The implication is that you ask according with God’s will. However, the law here is the law of agreement.

The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.  Proverbs 10:22

“No sorrow” means that God does not add the earth’s curse to your riches.

Read the three parables from Mark 4 to learn more laws of the Kingdom. The parable of the sower implies that if we hear the Word of God and thoroughly understand it and take it to heart, we will have success. (That may not necessarily be financial success, but success in walking in God’s purpose for you.)

The parable of the lamp stand implies that we can see things more clearly if we are exposed to the light of the Gospel. People receive God’s blessing in accordance with how they receive or respond to the Word when they encounter it.

The parable of the seed growing secretly implies that if we meditate upon the Word of God, we are more likely to have success.

The verse below will give you more insight into the laws of the Kingdom:

The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.  Luke 4:18

Following God’s laws gives God the legal right to help you. Perhaps He will give you witty inventions. Perhaps he will give you an idea for a new business.

Meditate upon these ideas.

Gary Keesee and his wife were in a desperate financial position. Within three years of learning the Kingdom principles of wealth creation, they were paying cash for things like cars and land.

The video below explains God’s financial laws much better than this article does. Make sure you pay close attention to the interview.
