The Government of God

The church and the government of God

You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.       Matthew 16:18  A gate is where the government sits.  So, Jesus is saying that He will build His government and the government of the opposing team will not prevail against it.

Are you called to be part of that government?  If you think you may be, read on.

If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.   2 Corinthians 5:17

While there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way?        1 Corinthians 3:3  You are a new creation.  You should be above what you were when you were walking only in a human way.  You should be among the most powerful people on the planet.

 The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.   Psalm 34:7   He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.  Psalm 91:11

We have a lot to be grateful about regarding the way angels help us.  So, we should work with them.   Many Christians do not talk to angels because someone once said that we are worshiping angels if we talk to them.  That’s like saying we worship a dog if we talk to it.  We should start working with angels.

Forced change

We are in an era of forced change.  That is change faster than our ability to cope with it.  The way we deal with it is by trusting in the Lord with all of our hearts and leaning not on our own understanding.   (See Proverbs 3:5.)

The ecclesia

The ecclesia is you and every other saint whether alive or dead (in the past, present or future).

The marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.  It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.  Revelation 19:7b, 8   The saints of the past are the “men in white linen”.  That is the same as the cloud of witnesses from Hebrews 12:1.

Have you not read what was spoken to you by God:  ‘I AM THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, AND THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB ‘? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.  Matthew 22:31b, 32    I.e., these people of old are still living.   These people of old such as John and Paul will be coming to teach us.

The government of God in the courts of heaven

These courtroom activities begin by faith.  At the beginning we will not see anything.  We just act as if the courts are real.  Eventually we will see them.

Go into the courts thanking the King.  The devil will show up and accuse you.  Agree with your adversary quickly.

Engage your imagination.  See the court and the judge seated is the Lord.  This is the government of God.  Admit your wrongs from the beginning.

At one time a politician was trying to push euthanasia into the House of Lords.  Justin went into the heavenly courts and found that the politician was surrounded by “power cables of favor”.  He went into the heavenly courts and by faith cut the power cables off the politician and declared that his friends would scatter.  The next day the politician was in front page news.  All of his friends had deserted him.  The favor left him.

When Justin goes into the courts of God, he finds out God’s will and acts accordingly.

Riots were happening all over England.  20 or 30 rioters were heading to Cardiff Wales to bring riots to that city.  Justin sat over Cardiff in the spirit and held it.  He declared that when those people get into the boundary line of the city, they would not want to riot.

The newspapers reported that when they arrived, they did not want to riot.
