Prayers becoming more effective

After years of healing evangelism, the prayers of Richard Roberts are becoming more effective than they used to be.   Every month he gets about 20 letters from cancer victims he has prayed for.     Their doctors are examining them and declaring them cancer free.

Richard Robert came by his supernatural healing gift naturally.  He is the son of Oral Roberts.  Since he was a little boy, he watched his father praying for infirmed people.  Watch the video below to see an example of a crippled boy walking after being prayed for by Oral Roberts.

How a prayer for healing works

When Richard Roberts prays for infirmed people, the healing rate is very large.  Mr. Roberts will feel the pain a person has in his own body.  Then he knows how to pray.

The beginning of his healing ministry — the big toe

Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

A prophetic word was made that Richard Roberts would have a healing ministry.  He and his wife contended for that in prayer.

Then one day Mr. Roberts was just finishing a sermon and the Lord told him to pray for the healing of someone’s big toe.  He was obedient to the Lord and then he felt his own big toe snap.

22 warts disappeared

When Richard Roberts was a child he had 22 warts on his hand.  His dad prayed for him.  Then Oral Roberts told his son that he had to keep his faith active.  Richard was obedient and, after 10 days, the warts all disappeared and never returned.

Praying in Tongues

So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my understanding.                               1 Corinthians 14:15

When Richard Roberts prays in tongues, he knows that he is praying a mysterious heavenly language.  He will get an idea and assume it is God’s interpretation of the tongue.  Then he starts praying the idea in English.
