Surviving the Storms Ahead

Surviving the difficult times to come

Understanding the times and seasons

But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.        Matthew 7:26

Understanding the times and the seasons is very important.  Getting left behind makes it almost impossible to catch up.  It makes surviving very difficult.

The Lord appeared to Neville Johnson in 2013.  He referred to the Feasts of Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles.  He said that He would add more of the fullness of these feasts each year over the next seven years.

Passover: Note that when Passover was first established, the children left Egypt and there was not one feeble among them.

Pentecost: The Lord is about to release the fire of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Tabernacles: This is Israel’s Thanksgiving feast in which they acknowledge the Fall harvest and God’s provision for them. It is happy celebration and a time of joy and rejoicing.  It is also a time to meditate upon the Millennium Kingdom when Christ will rule for a thousand years from His throne in Jerusalem.

Surviving when NOT business as usual

For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.    Matthew 24:38-39

Christians must prepare for a time when it is NOT business as usual.  The battle between good and evil is heating up on the earth.  Becoming holy is necessary for surviving this time in history.

We must not be lukewarm

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.   Revelation 3:15-16

We must NOT be lukewarm.  We can expect famines, premature death among too many youth, earthquakes, tsunamis, etc. to increase.  Being close to God is a good tool for surviving.

Both kind and severe

Notice how God is both kind and severe. He is severe toward those who disobeyed, but kind to you if you continue to trust in his kindness. But if you stop trusting, you also will be cut off.  Romans 11:22   (Emphasis mine)

I.e., don’t be fooled by teachers of “greasy grace”.  God WILL judge sin.

Anti-semitism

I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.         Genesis 12:3

I.e., people will also be judged for anti-semitism.  Anti-semitic nations and people are in danger of being cursed by God.

The false church

A major weapon of the Antichrist will be the False Church.

The best and the worst of humanity is being unleashed upon the earth.  We must seek the Lord as never before.  One essential thing: We MUST learn to hear the voice of the Lord.

Another very important thing to do to live within the coming times is to read and absorb Neville Johnson’s article about Surviving the Storms Ahead.
