The science behind singing to heal

singing to healSinging the scriptures is a tool that can make your prayers more effective. You can literally be singing to heal.

Even when you think you cannot sing at all, at least trying to sing will help you break into the supernatural.

Science is doing research on the power of singing. When you talk you are using the left side of the brain. When you add the element of tone, you are using the right side. By adding rhythm, you are using the back of the brain. With the various parts of your brain working together, it is very difficult to have negativity into your thoughts and prayers.

Homeless man sings Psalms 23

A homeless man named Raymond used to communicate by just mumbling. At a homeless shelter event, people were encouraged to sing the Bible. Julie Meyer worked especially hard to get Raymond to sing.

Eventually he stood up and sang so hard that people clapped. That was the beginning of his recovery. The last Julie Meyer heard about him was that he wanted her to know that he would be entering a drug treatment program.

Woman with AIDS gets healed

Eli Rose had been homeless since age 12. She’d been in the sex trade & had AIDS. A doctor had told her that she was unable to ever have children.

She was planning on ending her life. Before she did so, she ended up in some healing rooms.

The healing room director got a word of knowledge that someone in the room wanted to commit suicide. He told the people that whoever it was should not do that. He said that God was already starting to heal her.

That evening she gave her life to the Lord. Then she began a healing program. Every day she sang the Bible.

She now credits her healing with singing the scriptures. She was healed of AIDS. She is now married and had a baby girl.

This is the Outrageous Faith of Henry Gruver

outrageous faithHenry Gruver’s life has been a life of outrageous faith and amazing miracles.

For instance, he, his wife and their eight children were in a van accident. Henry was dead for about 30 minutes.

His daughter’s outrageous faith

His 15-year-old daughter started praying, “Devil, that’s my dad. You can’t have him. I rebuke you in the name of Jesus.”

Eleven days to live

Once Henry had cancer throughout his body. His doctor told him he expected to live another eleven days. He called Henry a living dead man.

Eleven days after the doctor visit he preached to 75 pastors because he had been scheduled to preach a year earlier. Physically it was very difficult.

Suddenly the pain left him. He yelled out that he had been healed.

He went back to his doctor who was super impacted. Since then he has gone on missions to India & Africa.

Mosquitoes, plague & dragonflies

outrageous faithHenry was scheduled to speak in Taiwan. The southern part of Taiwan was being plagued by deadly mosquitoes. One mosquito bite and people would go into a painful high fever for four days and then die. Hundreds were dying every day.

outrageous faithHe went to southern Taiwan, looked out on a field and had a vision of one dragonfly. His father had told him to never kill a dragonfly because they eat mosquitoes.

Henry prayed for clouds of dragonflies. Suddenly he and his entourage saw millions of dragonflies appear in front of them.

Baby Dead at Birth

Henry Gruver’s baby boy had been born dead. The umbilical cord was wrapped around his throat four times.However, a year previous it had been prophesied that his wife would give birth to a powerful man of God.

So, Henry took the dead baby in his hands and reminded God of the prophecy. The baby lived.

People Who Cannot Control Their Behaviour

Perhaps they are addicted to gambling, drugs or alcohol.  They may have any of a number of different anti-social  behaviours. 75 – 85% of prisoners who are let out on parole will reoffend. They often simply cannot control themselves. They are victims of arrested brain development.

Before Dr. Paul Hegstrom was healed, he used to beat his wife. He hated himself for doing that. He kept promising himself that he would never do it again.

He even spent $30,000 on psychologists’ fees. They could not help him. He still could not control himself. He and the parolees who reoffend are the victims of arrested brain development.

Rewired his brain

control their behaviourAfter much study he finally found out how to “rewire” his brain.  The process took three years. He no longer has any trouble with wife beating.

He and his former wife got remarried. After 23 years in the new marriage, there has never been a single case of domestic violence.

Enabling parolees to control their behaviour

control their behaviourDr. Hegstrom and his team of psychological researchers have worked with parolees. They worked with several groups of ex-cons in the state of Georgia. Instead of 75 – 85% of them reoffending, 2 – 6% of them reoffended.

They worked with over 500 parolees in the state of Texas. In all 500 cases, the symptoms of their arrested brain development was reversed. After five years into the project, NONE of them had reoffended.

Why People Cannot Control Themselves

Paul had been raped by a man at age eight. That had been the main cause of his arrested brain development.

Some types of childhood traumas cause the body’s adrenalin-producing system to be on high alert. As a result, three different chemicals (dopamine, seratonin and norepinephrine) cannot be produced in sufficient quantities at the onset of puberty. The extra adrenalin prevents that from happening. Consequently, the brain does not fully develop and, in Paul’s case, part of him remained like a nine-year-old boy.

The five types of childhood traumas that can cause the adrenalin-producing system to stay on high alert are:

♦ Rejection in the original family,
♦ Incest,
♦ Molestation
♦ Emotional abuse and
♦ Physical abuse.

Non-Turkish-speaking man speaks perfect Turkish

A stranger phoned up Isik saying that he & his wife had been praying for her. He invited her to come to their house several hour’s drive away.

She said she had no gas in her car. He prayed that she could drive that distance without filling up. So, she did.

After getting to her house, he spoke to her in tongues. He confessed her sins in perfect Turkish.

In a church service the pastor talked about being filled with the Holy Spirit. She went to the altar & invited Him in. She constantly pursues and Holy Spirit. Consequently, she says, every day is full of joy, peace & freedom.

Personnel in the hospital sent Ron to a second hospital in the ambulance. At one point it seemed to him like the ambulance exploded.

He felt his spirit leave has body. Then he looked down and saw what looked like an active volcano.

What looked like an active volcano actually was hell. Down there he saw criminals he had known.

Their spirit bodies were being burned but they continued to live in agony. The smell was terrible. The loneliness was terrible.

They yelled out, “Ronnie, don’t come here. There’s no escape; there’s no way out.”

The Answer to the School Violence Problem

school violenceGuess our national leaders didn’t expect this answer to the school violence problem.

Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton, Colorado, was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee‘s subcommittee. What he said to our national leaders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful.

They were… not prepared for what he was to say, nor was it received well. It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert! These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness.. The following is a portion of the transcript:

“Since the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.

“The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used.. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain’s heart.

NRA & school violence???

“In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA – because I don’t believe that they are responsible for my daughter’s death.

“Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel’s murder I would be their strongest opponent.

“I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy — it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best.

“Your laws ignore our deepest needs,
Your words are empty air.
You’ve stripped away our heritage,
You’ve outlawed simple prayer.
Now gunshots fill our classrooms,
And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere,
And ask the question “Why?”
You regulate restrictive laws,
Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand,
That God is what we need!

“Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation’s history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact.

School violence & scapegoats

“What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine’s tragedy occurs — politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts.

“As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America , and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools.

“Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA — I give to you a sincere challenge.. Dare to examine your own heart before casting the first stone!

“My daughter’s death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!”

The Ten Immutable Laws of the Kingdom

laws of the kingdomUsing principles he’d found in the Bible, Pat Robertson was able to launch the first American Christian television network, a television show that  presently has over a million viewers daily, a major university & a law school. He says these principles work the same for everyone. Pat Robertson calls these principles “The Laws of the Kingdom”.

Laws of the kingdom are in the Bible

Whenever Jesus spoke in the Bible without referencing the place, time or recipient, he was giving laws that are on par with the law of gravity. These are called Laws of the Kingdom.

For instance, there is the law of use. In Mathew 25 we are given the parable of the talents. The person who buried his talent in the ground and did not use it was dealt severely by his boss. The ones who doubled their money were rewarded with more responsibilities and, we presume, a raise in wages.

For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. But the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.… Mathew 25:29

Here is an example of the Law of Miracles in action: Pat Robertson was praying for his son who had a runaway fever and  convulsions. The concern was that his son could become brain dead.

As Pat was praying, the Lord said, “I love your son a thousand times more than you.” Pat literally lifted up his son to the Lord. The minute he did that, the fever broke. The next day his son was completely healed.

The Law of Dominion

At one  point in his life Pat had $70 to his name. The Lord told him to go back home & buy a television station. Because of his tenacity and one God-incidence after another, he was able to buy his first television station for $37,000.

That has grown into, among other things, a television program that has a million daily viewers.

Remarkable Powerful Healing with Spiritual Fire

One day Jack Sheffield has attending a church where people believed in the supernatural. During the service, a woman died.

The pastor knew the story about Elijah laying his body upon the widow’s dead son. So, he laid upon the woman’s body.

The ambulance came; the emergency medical technicians declared her dead. In the ambulance, she rose from the dead.

 

Healed of bone cancer

Jack Sheffield received a healing anointing of fire. Someone  with bone cancer came to the healing centre. After Jack laid hands on the man, he said that he felt fire in different parts of his body.

He was completely healed.

 

 

Pulling the plug in the hospital

Jack Sheffield has set up healing centres in a number of hospital chapels. There is praise & worship and allowing God to enter the scene.

One day a very distraught family came in. They were about to pull the plug that was giving life support to the father.

The chapel team raised the spiritual level, the family went up to see the plug being pulled from life support and the dead man came back to life.

Demonized Christian

The Bible talks about people having a spirit of infirmity. That spirit is a demon. Christians can be tormented by demons.

At one point Jennifer was a happy, peaceful Christian. Then things turned sour. Life got dark.

She went to a prayer meeting and someone saw a demonic spirit on her. She was then thrown against a wall and began to manifest for several hours. Her friends started to pray warfare prayers. It did not help.

In the months that followed, the demon harassed her. Sometimes the sounds were so great that other people could hear them.

One night the demon walked through a wall and Jennifer could see them. She took authority in the name of Jesus Christ. The demon left and never came back.

 

Two secrets for getting our prayers answered

Praying successfully is simple for Jennifer. She

  1. Finds a Bible promise relating to the problem and pray the promise with the name and authority of Jesus Christ.
  2. Pray with other people in agreement.

Pray scriptures with authority

What if you are loaded with problems — family, finances, health, etc. Can you pray for them? Yes, of course. Just use your weaponry — the Bible and the name of Jesus Christ.

Jennifer has an excellent track record. She says that she finds a Bible promise that relates to her problem. Then she speaks to the problem with the scripture. She takes authority in the name of Jesus Christ.

Deliverance after dabbling in the occult

A young boy had been dabbling in the occult and began to levitate after his father prayed. A group of Christians tried to cast the demon out. They could not.

Jennifer Eivaz said that she had successfully cast a demon out of herself. She prayed and the demon left.

The fear of the Lord

The is a strange connection between love and the fear of the Lord.

Isaiah 11:2 & Revelation 1:4 talk about the seven spirits of God. Isaiah 11:3 prophesied that Jesus would delight in the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord.

That spirit is the one that tethers us to the will of God. Without the fear of the Lord we cannot know the precise will of the Lord. We may be doing the opposite of what He wants.

The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him—
the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and of might,
the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord—
and He will delight in the fear of the Lord. Isaiah 11:2-3a (emphasis mine).

Isaiah 11 is prophesying about Jesus. The word translated “fear” can be puzzling. This is what the Life Hope & Truth website says about the subject:

The main Hebrew and Greek words translated fear in the Bible can have several shades of meaning, but in the context of the fear of the Lord, they convey a positive reverence.

The Hebrew verb yare can mean “to fear, to respect, to reverence” and the Hebrew noun yirah “usually refers to the fear of God and is viewed as a positive quality. This fear acknowledges God’s good intentions (Ex. 20:20). … This fear is produced by God’s Word (Ps. 119:38; Prov. 2:5) and makes a person receptive to wisdom and knowledge (Prov. 1:7; 9:10)” (Warren Baker and Eugene Carpenter, The Complete Word Study Dictionary: Old Testament, 2003, pp. 470-471).

The Greek noun phobos can mean “reverential fear” of God, “not a merelove‘fear’ of His power and righteous retribution, but a wholesome dread of displeasing Him”.

Love & the Greater Works

God is releasing a capacity to love like never before. It will escort us into the greater works. (Whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing,and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. John 14:12)

However, we will never walk in the greater works unless we walk in the greater love.
